Layout of the Third Generation Semiconductor Industry

After the official launch of the Third Generation Semiconductor Research Institute in March this year, Shenzhen has once again intensified its layout in the third-generation semiconductor industry. On August 3rd, the Economic and Technological Promotion Bureau of Pingshan District, Shenzhen, led the drafting of the "Several Measures for Promoting the Development of the Third Generation Semiconductor Industry in Integrated Circuits (Draft for Comments)" by the Pingshan District People's Government of Shenzhen (public notice period of 10 working days, August 3rd to August 17th).

The draft measures for the development of the third-generation semiconductor industry mainly include industry funding support, effective protection of industrial space, vigorous introduction and cultivation of high-quality integrated circuit enterprises, establishment of a multi-level talent team for integrated circuits, support for industrial research and development and core technology breakthroughs, improvement of the integrated circuit industry chain, and other supportive policies.

1、 Industrial funding support

1. Financial support: Utilize existing special funds for industrial development and technological innovation in the district, and allocate no less than 500 million yuan annually to support the development of the integrated circuit industry;

2. Industry Fund: Cooperate to establish a 3 billion yuan integrated circuit fund;

3. Credit financing: For integrated circuit enterprises that obtain loans with a term of more than one year through third-party financing guarantee institutions, a 50% subsidy will be given based on the financing guarantee fee paid by the enterprise to the guarantee institution (the guarantee fee rate shall not exceed 2%). The maximum annual subsidy amount for each enterprise is 2 million yuan, and the same guarantee project will be supported continuously for no more than 3 years.
